Born in Seoul, Korea, Bassist, composer and arranger 

She began with the piano, experimented with traditional korean flute and electric bass. She graduated from Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts Department of Music and Prince Claus Conservatory in Netherlands. 

Presently, she is working with many players and graduated master course in New York.

 

She has performed with 
Ralph Peterson, Gene Jackson, David Berkman, Don Braden, JD Walter, Robin Eubanks, Freddie Bryant, Mark Gross, Candy Dulfur, Benny Golson, Tom Harrell, Gene Jackson, Antonio Hart, Shila Jordon and many others. 

She has played festivals- 2012 European Talent Orchestra (Swinging in Groningen - Netherlands),(ELBJazz Festival in Hamburg - Germany),(Kopenhagen Jazz Festival & Aarhus Jazz Festival -Denmark), 2011 Swingin Groningen (Jungha Lee trio) , 2011 Jazz Vocal Concours Final in the Nederlands (Viktorija Pilatovič Quartet), 2010 "A Jazz festival" in Assen (Lilly Ilieva Quintet), 2009 Cheonggyecheon Job Fair Jazz Contest, 2005 Ulsan Jazz Festival New(Young Talent) Jazz Band and more.

 

She got awards 2011- 3rd prize  of Jazz Vocal Concours in the Nederlands (Viktorija Pilatovič Quartet) ,2010  Third prize of Christmas Carol Contest in PCC (Maarten Westers Quartet with strings Quartet),2008 Second prize of Ulsan Jazz Festival(Young Talent) by Contrabass ,2008 Third prize of Kwanghwamoon Jazz Concours by Contrabass ,2005 Second prize of Ulsan Jazz Festival(Young Talent) by E.Bass.
